Application softwares are the task oriented softwares
1) Word processing software : Used for writting and managing the tasks related to word. Example : MsWord, Notepad
2) Database Software : Oracle , MS Access , this is used to save the transactional data
3) Spreadsheet Software : Microsoft Excel . Which helps to maintain a track record of the data in tabular format.
4) Presentation Software : Power Point. which shows a presentation view.
etc
These application softwares are being used as per the need and requirement of an individual and the institutions.
The specific details of the application would depend on the usage of the application for example MS Word can work well with Microsoft Windows OS and is compatible whereas it might not be able to work properly with the other OS.
Additional feautured like own designing structures can be introduced, should be password protected as in this world of digitalization breach happens at any point of time andd which needs to be prevented.
If asked one would definitely have used a power point for presentation as it has an amazing GUI and is easy and simple to use.
