The experienced consumers can easily notice this changes but the non-experience consumers did not notice this and they feels the same for them.

Answer 1:

The retail store we have visited is the Wal-mart in our city. The category they represented was that they have various varieties of fabric cloths with price ranging from $10 to $30 in the cloths. The fabric by looking at the costly cloth products looks to be quite different as compared to the fabric of cloth of lower prices cloth products. This is common in the women as well as the men cloths. The fabric are not easily noticeable, but with little cautious, oe can feel the differences between the fabric used in the cloths. The fabric in high costly cloths is smooth and good shine, where as the fabric in low priced cloth products rough and shine is not appropriate.

We conclude that if higher the budget for the cloth products, then the feel and look of the cloths is better than the lower budget cloth products. Costly fabrics are differentiable with cheaper fabrics. The costly fabrics are being noticed by most of the consumers who have good experience. But some of the consumers are not able to make the difference in cheaper fabric and costly fabric.

The surprises we found in the fabrics that though there is no major change in the fabrics, but the prices are very highly placed by the retail business. The fabrics are being used by the retail business for consumer confusions and with this confusion they want to explore high margin on the products. Improper marking on the products and placing the products at higher prices is amajor concern we have seen at the retail stores.
