The published job market is where you can find advertise job postingsin classified ads and postings, online databases,recruiter listings, and marketing websites, according to the book Career Focus: A Personal Job Search Guide. Often times many of the job opening as those openings hidden where they are not published for people to see. In the hidden job market you have to make yourself known to several people through networking and I'm guessing LinkedIn would also be helpful as it would to join a chat online and creating a group where people with the same interest would join in and talk to each other. You can also find hidden jobs by coming face to face, using the telephone or email and attending professional organization events in your field

The difference between the published job market and the hidden job market is that the published job markets are the ones that are advertized in magazines, newspapers and web sites (Hopkins, 2012). Whereas, the hidden job market are the ones that are sourced internally and are not needed immediately. The techniques that would be used to access the published job market include searching professional publications and company websites. The techniques used for for accessing the hidden job market include searching for general news media and trade publications (Warren et al., 2015).
