Question
Imagine you are working for a community center that offers health, wellness, and relief services to all community members. The clientele is diverse and daily you see individuals of all types. One morning, you notice a young man who comes to the center for assistance. His shoes and clothes are ragged, his hair is unwashed, and he's quite thin. When he stops to speak to the receptionist (Mary) at the front entrance, she makes no secret of her distaste for the young man. She rudely sends him off towards the social services office. Later that morning you walk by the social services office. You see the manager (Linda) has found the young man a sandwich and some coffee. Linda is sitting beside him and helping him fill out some paperwork. She touches him arm briefly before she stands up to greet another visitor.
