Connectivity: Provide a diagram that shows how the system will connect to the other information systems and what data flows among them. 7. Explanation / Answer
Answer:
1. Goals (project hopes to accomplish): When we are meeting first time with the resource team of the project, we would like to welcome and encourage them for their superior contribution to make the project a grand success. We would like to address the goal of the project and the objectives which we want to achieve in the project. The clarity on the project goal and objectives is very essential for the project team.
2. Critical Success Factors: We would like to update the critical success factors for the project. We would like to udate the team that cost and lead time are very essential factors along with project quality and meeting stakeholder requirements is the key for project success.
Four different stakeholders are
Project customers : Two requirements are they want the project to meet their technical requirements and along with lead time.
Project sponsor: Project sponsor wants the project to be completed with the budget and agreed lead time.
Business head : Project team to execute the project as per plan and meet customer expectations.
Project investors: Project completion on time and deliver expected return on their investment.
3. Acquisition strategy: The system should be purchased off the-shelf and customized. Because this will requires low lead time and cost for the project completion. The whole project built will call for lot of resources and time and it will have lot of complexities and difficult to manage the design and manufacturing complexities of the new system building process. Hence purchase off the self and customize it as per our need, as it is simple and easy process.
4.Resources: For in-house development, people/skills are required as per the roles of the project and functional skill required for the project. The project calls for the design skill, development skill, testing skill, certification skill, so that the project completes all the key stages of design and development successfully. The development life cycle for the project will be as concept stage, growth stage, maturity stage, and termination stage. The project will pass through all these stages.
