a. Grower's choice can improve views of diversity and work-life balance amongst their interns by creating environment that encouraged the realization of diversity and promote work-life balance, this can be done in two ways :

1. Working to transform work styles.

2. Enriching Family-friendly system.

b. Working to transform work styles : It can be achieved by reducing workloads of the employees by various ways like : Planned leaves, Work-life balance leaves, Introducing concept of Work Smart Days, setting work life balance indicators in the organization etc.

c. Enriching Family-friendly system : Showing openness to flexible ways of working like work from home system, flexible work time system, child care support etc.

d. Workplace needs to be created in such a way that employees with diverse backgrounds are provided with opportunities to play an active role within the organization.

Use of technology at 7-Eleven :

a. 7-Eleven constantly try to find and implement innovative and new ways to connect their all part of business together.

b. Connecting the franchisee to the store : 7-Eleven has introduced Email Reader Program which helps the franchisee's to link their personal emails to the store emails and read the messages from anywhere that are send to store while accessing their personal mail.

c. Connecting the store to the corporate center : They have developed a Business Transformation system which helps their franchises run the store more profitably and efficiently. It allows to scan the product, automatically check-in and create perpetual inventory.

Use of technology at Walmart :

a. Walmart ensures that their human resource department is supported in satisfying business needs and expectations.

b. Walmart uses special software for forecasting, they get employee data from its store, its fed to the central database and processed to reveal trends in the operational, human resources of the company.

c. Walmart uses its Information system to address the shortage or surplus of employees. The human resource department applies corresponding plans to stabilize the workforce of the company.
