The visit was conducted in a nearby retails clothing shop, which is multiple outlets in the country. The clothing shop is a multi-brand shop, and has a wide range of garments and accessories, in menswear, women wear and kids wear. Below is the evaluation and practical example of how all the marketing mix policies:
Product Policy:
- The store has a wide range of products, across all the categories, such as menswear, women wear and kid wear. The store has some in-house brands which are cheaper in price and some outsourced premium brands which are of the higher price, from this we come to a conclusion that they want to target a wide range of people. They also have accessories which they cross merchandise with their garments to increase sales.
- For example: The store being a multi brand outlet had brands with different USPs, one being the best in denim wear, some in ladies blouse, some in men’s formals and so on this helps to attract a verity of costumers, each brand has its own labelling and branding, but the clothes are generally packed in transparent plastic bags, the garment has tags for price and barcodes and also story tags.

the owner could improve on the below points:
- more of cross marketing can be done so that a costumer who has come inn the store know about the new products and be engaged in addition sales.
- the staff ha to be a bit more proactive and shouls have knoweledge of teh products so as to tap the costumer better.and covert the interest in sale.
- more signages should be at the store for easy movement of the costumer.
- the other sections should also be visible to the costumer so the furniture position needs to be changed.
