To respond to this topic, discuss and describe in detail the manufacturing process of a product of your choice (i.e. iPhone, Pizza, Beats headphones, etc.). Explanation / Answer

The example picked is the local Dominos Pizza. The pizzas are produced at the kitchen based on the line of production and made freshly based in kitchen based on the customer’s order. In the pizza production line, the workers (employees) convert the dough into pizza bases, toppings (as per the order & selection of the type of the pizza) are added, and finally baking is done in the oven. Sometimes, as the demand increases the batch production is also carried to product the quality and on time product (i.e. pizza). In both the cases high quality pizza matters to the end customers and this is achieved through quality control in all the phases of the Pizza delivery business (whether the pizza is served at the counter or home delivery is carried out). Dominos Pizza estimated the pizza delivery in (not more than) 30minutes time based on the proximity of the kitchen and location of the delivery. The manufacturing process comprises of the fresh raw material (e.g. vegetables, meat, tomato sauce), machines needed (e.g. dough mixing, vegetable chopping, ingredients mixing, store the pizza dough at right temperature, sauce for ready to for usage), employees who are engaged in the entire process, and finally is the finished good (e.g. dough, tomato sauce, toppings , baked pizza). Important component of this process are, such as, the logistics which is essential for pizza delivery (e.g. Inbound logistics such as fresh goods from suppliers, transportation, raw material storage; Operations such as converting raw material into final finished product and outbound logistics such as pizza takeaway, serving at counter or delivering the pizza to the customer location);
