By looking at above data, it is clear that Instagram has better reach on targeted audience. This is clearly visible by number of likes it got compared to other platforms. The other platform which catches eye is revenue generation per dollar spent. This is key parameter has any company’s ultimate goal is revenue generation.

The best way to find how platform performed well with target audience is by comparing likes and shares. This is because posts are most likely to be liked and shared by audience who like it (i.e. targeted audience)
Facebook – likes 7641, shares - 3786
Twitter – likes 643, shares - 575
Instagram – likes 66246, shares - 18424
By data it is evident that Instagram has good connection with targeted audience. This is most probably because of nature of social media apps. For facebook, entire earth is a market place. Hence many people log in at a time. This means posts flow at rapid pace and hence there is little chance for target audience to see. Users use twitter mainly to read news, hence their preference for aids is less. Instagram has closed loop i.e. only close friends use the app. Hence posts are less and user get good time to view the post.

For me platform which generates higher revenue per dollar spent is key. This is because for any business ultimate goal is revenue generation. Hence company only sees which platform generate higher revenue per dollar spent. Hence overall performance is directly depended on revenue generated per dollar spent.
