Every employee of the company should adhere to the policies of the company. Therefore, I would say key account manager that as per current company's policy that's not possible. I would suggest key acoount manager should try once convincing the client about company's policies and how these policies would help the client in future. If the client disagrees to this, then I will suggest key account manager to contact concerned in the top management about this and get a formal exception for this client.
