Understanding the relationship between career trends and the relevant skills necessary to compete for jobs in the 21st century is the foundation of your career development.

21st century with it's developing technological aspects are asking more from an employee in terms of skills to get a job done. The different career fields are also seeing a change with the same development in technology and globalisation. There is an ever growing need of taking decisions within seconds and completeing task effectively and effeciently which calls for some skill sets other than the academics.

Talking about the career trends , analytics,data management,digital management,IoT and sales and marketing are seeing a huge boom considered to their counterparts. More and more data is created everyday and this calls in for management and analysis of the same.People thees days need top notch technology embedded into their devices so that they can satisfy their multiple needs with ease.With the increase in the digital and socila media platforms sales and marketing have seen a different world and are interested in doing sales through e-commerce and advertisemnets and research through the information gained from social media sites.

If we are to associate certain career trends with their respective skills sets then in the case of Data Analytics and data management the skills required apart from the academic knowledge would be logical reasoning and also the skill of taking quick decions based on the analysis of the data.

When it comes to Iot ,one must possess an extensive knowlegde in the technological and engineering part of the product. He should also possess the skills of future vision or long term vision as to see how he can connect that single products with other products and what will be the troubles a customer would face once he gets the product etc.

In the case of Digital marketing and sales the employees should have knack of attracting people through images and words as well as to retain them .They should also be well versed in communicating through social medias and also available readily to eradicate any doubts of the customers. He should a;so be creative and bring out of the box ideas to launch their products online to gain maximum online market share.
