Explanation / Answer
Background Research :
- considering the need of hour it is important for any sector, and percisly banking to go through training in technological advances, with everyday a new concept coming in the this field one has to be on the toes to compete with it.
- with modern and convenient ways of transactions, such as e-wallets and other such inventions, it is important for banks to take care of their existing costumer base.
- now a days in order to survive it has become important that the bankers become more professional, the banks should have more professionals such as auditors, legal advisors or risk managers etc, these are also in short supply for such professionals, but are required by the banks in order to mange costumers efficiently.
Secondary Research:
The main and the base of secondary data is the article which was published in Kheelji Times, by Jamal Al Jassmi, dated 10th march 2018, This article puts light on the current scenario of the banking sector in UAE, and what are the requirements which are you required to meet, in order to stay in the business.
Primary Research:
Primary Research can be conducted in the banks and also opinions from the cosumers can be invited. The best way to do this is through surveys. 2 survey forms can be developed, on to attain requirements of the employees as per their encounters with costumers and the other form for the costumers to understand their requirements.
Data collection:
As mentioned earlier surveys would be the primary source of data, an approximate sample size of 150 bank employees, 500 costumers from different demographics such as age, their profession and gender can be used for data collection.
Project Schedule:
The project can be carried out, just after the peak time of using banking services, such as any tax deadline or so, this is because this is the time when their is maximum interaction between employees and costumers and both the parties might have something to contribute based in their experience in the recent past.
Till this time rest of the things such as surveys, and internal data processing can be done.
Once the surveys are sent for filling, it will take approximately a week or two to get the required number of feed backs.
Then the survey will be scrutinized , and a basic hypothesis will be formed
The hypothesis will then be tested and presented to the management, who will inturn give their insights to get the best training and development topic out.
Once the topic is out, necessary content and technology can be arranged for and then the training can be carried out.
Risk Management:
The major risk here is to identify the topics which require trainings and the best ways to train the employees.
The other risk here is the acceptance and implementation of the training given to the employees, for this it is important that evaluation on regular basis is done.
Also cost evolved in the management should bring that much of worth to organisation.
Quality Management:
The most important area to maintain quality is the quality of the surveys and the scrutiny of the surveys. This can be ensured by asking for inputs from selected employees and costumers.
The content should offered for training should also be of great value and to get this, it can be reviewed by a few people who are Pioneer of the subject
Assumptions/problems/limitations :
The hunam resource in the banking sector is willing update themselves.
There is no resistance to change and advancement.
Data collected is authentic and genuine.
