a. For operation of every 3 hours 45 minutes, desheller machine need to rest for 15 minutes, so every 4 hours, the process capacity = 400/hour * 3.75 hour = 1,500 pounds

The daily Process Capacity of Desheller

= 1,500 pounds * 12 hrs/4hours

= 4,500 pounds

The daily Process Capacity of the Deveiner

= 360*12

= 4,320 pounds

For the whole processing plant, the maximum capacity is based on the threshold of the process. For this case, it is based on the process capacity of deveiner. Therefore, daily capacity of the processing plant is 4,320 pounds

Total shrimp transport by truck = 5 * 1,000 = 5,000 pounds
