There are a lot of concerns, which the small businesses in DME supplier industry, have long had about competitive bidding. Critical facts to remember are that the beneficiary currently have unrestricted choices and many suppliers of DME are small businesses, who are critical to our economy.

The program oblivious to how those prices are obtained; how the small suppliers be allowed to participate and compete may be equally crucial. The program fails to provide small business suppliers a much required favorable environment.
