Question
Peer-review is an important part of the doctoral process that many learners do not take advantage of because they are unable to establish productive working relationships. Often, I would discuss my ideas to one of my classmates on a monthly basis, but I wasn’t comfortable enough to show her my writing. I kept my writing for my dissertation chair (who was also my content expert), which made the process much easier for me and the remaining committee members. This is my experience. Discuss what your expectations are for your peers reviewing your work. What are the pros and cons?
