The problem with setting up computers connected with the same servers and different operation systems is that not all of the programs are compatible on all the operational systems and this can cause the system to shut down or experience issues that will not allow the user to access the desire information.
Having different vendors also can be a problem because when something is not working correctly you will not be sure who to contact, you need to keep a detail list on which vendor sold the equipment.
It would be best to use the same operational system for example windows and purchase equipment from the same vendor, like Microsoft this is a way to standardize the process by centralizing our providers.
If something wrong happens, it will be easier to fix it because all systems are running the same and you only have to contact 1 vendor.
