The first day of your new job, your supervisor introduced you to your coworkers. Everyone was friendly except Melissa and Mandy. When you see Melissa and Mandy in the hallway, they ignore you. When you enter a room, they walk away from you. You are mystified about what you did to create this problem. The day you were intro- duced to them, all you said was hello. You have now been employed for over a month and the cold shoulder continues. Casually you mentioned the problem to your super- visor, who said not to pay any attention to them. The situation makes you uncom- fortable and you would like to solve the problem. • Why do they not speak to you? • What should you do to solve the problem? • Is there someone you can turn to for help?

2.Perhaps they are not behave in same way towards everybody, hence the supervisor asked you to ignore them. The best way is to approach them straight and have a friendly chat with them. Tell them that you want their help to adjust yourself in the new atmosphere and repeat that you are completely helpless and without their support you would be ruined. In corporate sector such people are common and one has to tackle the situation cleverly.

3.Nobody can help you in this regard, because everyone knows that they have superiority complex and ego problem, the best way is to adjust with their complexity and as far as possible avoid them to teach a lesson
