Q2) Below is what can be done long before a trainee attends training to ensure that the trainee will be motivated to learn -

1. Create a buzz around the topic for training and its objectives with respect to individual and firm development

2. Provide the required schedule of training and the details of each session including the topics covered

3. Create a development plan for the individuals that helps them to develop the skills after the training.

4. Communicate the background of trainers including their experience and achievements to the trainees

Q3) Below is why classroom-based training programs are used much more than individualized approaches to training -

1. Cost of training/individual which includes individualized training program design and delivery are much higher in individualized approaches compared to class-room based training though logistics costs can be saved.

2. Overall returns to costs ratio is much higher in classroom training programs as the number of individuals trained is higher and their skill development in turn would lead to more productive workplace.

3. Effective time of training in classroom based programs is lesser

4. Classroom based trainings foster interaction and improves learning outcomes due to discussions that happen in the classrooms between trainer and trainees.
