Arguments are welcomed as well as sound affirmations. “Motivation must be a popular area of study currently. My research also addressed this issue. Khoreva, Vaiman, and Van Zalk (2017) and Johennesse and Chou (2017) consider motivation as a means to address retention issues in talent management. Khoreva, Vaiman, and Van Zalk (2017) also addressed gender and the role it plays in retention. They found that women were more likely to be affected by perceptions of talent management effectiveness. Both studies show that there is a reciprocal response to these perceptions regardless of gender. They found that when employees perceive that organization values and invest in its employees that they will reciprocate and become more committed to the organization thus decreasing potential turnover”.

Answer:

Retention can be regardless of the gender.Retention in an organization may occur due to various issues like working environment,less job satisfaction,personal issues etc.so retention is not an issue only for women.

Their studies may be an reciprocal of the response because as it is said that employee retention can be reduced when the employees are valued in the organization.Motivation can be one of the factor to encourage the employees to be more productive and involve employees in the work enthusiastically to gain job satisfaction.

Employees work can be rewarded through motivation so that they may stay more committed to the organization.Motivation can reduce retention of an employee.Organization should care for the well being of the employee .

Motivation is a good step that is taken to encourage the employees to increase their productivity.when the employees perceive that organization values and invests in employees through any other means also automatically the employees may get motivated and may stay committed to the organization

Nowadays,both men and women are considered equal and are given equal opportunities so retention can be regardless of the gender.

Organization must conduct more talent management programs to encourage the employees so that they may feel motivated.

Employees can be valued in the organization by employee empowerment,providing onsite opportunities,providing promotions.All these are forms of motivation.So motivation is the main factor for an employee to stay committed to the organization.Motivation gives a positive feel in the working environment and provides job satisfaction

So motivation is the major factor to increase the productivity and reduce retention but it can be regardless of gender.
