Dubai government has stated a desire to increase recycling rates, both residential and business. In 2013, municipal statistics recorded as much as 2.6 million tonnes of garbage being sent to the landfill, 900,000 tonnes less than the 3.5 million tonnes sent to landfill in Dubai in 2010. However, 35 per cent of garbage is still being buried in landfills today in Dubai. Per capita, it’s estimated that Dubai residents each contribute roughly 2.7 kilos to the emirate’s waste stream every day. The Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy for 2030 aims to reduce energy demand by 30 per cent and realise zero waste by 2030. Your task is to gather primary and secondary data in order to (1) evaluate current household recycling rates, practices, impediments, etc., (2) analyse the data, and (3) make a recommendation for what actions the Dubai government could take to increase household recycling. In addition, please evaluate the statistical relationship, if any, between education level and the frequency of recycling for a household.

Current Household waste : It has been increased to 8.4 million tonnes which was having 6.6 million tonnes in last year. They are supposed to pay for their waste. this act is coming soon. Building management system need to make waste collection contract with private service
The actions Dubai govt could take to increase househould recycling:
1. Neglegence of Residents by not forecasting
2. Lot of rubbish disposal
3. Neglegence of government towards waste management
4. Population explosion
5. Technological changes leads to disposal of e-waste
6. Increase of Hotel. The more percentage of waste is generated by these hotels by producing Food Waste.
Measures Started to make zero percent waste by 2020

4. Construction of deep tunnel is completed by 80% as of now
5. Compulsion of usage of Biodegradable bags
