When approaching the study of public policy, it is important to recognize the paradoxes that are built in. Elected officials (aka politicians) create policy focusing on two goals. First, they want to solve a problem (the policy goal) and second, they want to preserve power (the political goal) so they can accomplish their policy goals. Examine the idea of “policy paradox”, define the paradox, and differentiate between the “market” and the “polis.” Last, how do the differences relate to the paradox of policy?

The paradox policy is all about some uncertainties decisions which are not logical or unacceptable decisions.
The market is depending on the polis, as right policy determines the best part of the market to sustain goal for the longer periods. Polis is basically motivated to adopt the other society culture or influence to remain in the competition. The market is the place where POLIS influence will work and will bring the change in the market values.

The difference in the “Paradox Policy” with the above relation is simple, as in the paradox none of the decisions are logical so the POLIS which is slightly the adoption of the cultures of the other societies and to influence to make the process competitive as it is necessary for the market, the differences are here if the policies are not ethical or not treated as logical then the market value or reputation will go down as it will not be accepted anywhere.
