To determine whether the accusations are true or not I will engage in critical thinking to draw inferences and make a conclusion based on my analysis. I will start by conduction fact finding interviews. I will interview employees who worked in the same department with the accused employee. I will also interview the accused employee, the employee who has allegedly been abused and other employees who work with the abused employee. These interviews will help me to gain an understanding of the values, behavior and character of the two employees in question and what were the circumstances of the alleged misconduct. Secondly I will determine the credibility of the witnesses in order to determine whether they are stating facts or just plainly lying.

If the accusations are determined to be true and the employee is suspended then I will have to use critical thinking to determine the impact of this decision on the future performance of the employee and his/her colleagues. The suspension will discipline the guilty employee and in future he will conduct his work in a disciplined and moral manner. The impact on employees that the suspended employee works with will also be a positive one as they will feel safe and protected under the knowledge that employees within their organization cannot get away from any wrongdoings of any kind. When they come to work with a feeling of safety and protection their performance as well as motivation will increase.
