What is God doing in Joseph through these trials?

Explanation / Answer

The description about how Joseph was when he was at his father’s business could not be analysed from the paragraphs given in the link. Also, I have checked various references for the other answers as the information is not given in the link provided.

A general answer for Joseph’s maturity is given below.

Joseph was able to interpret the dreams of both the cupbearer and the baker. Joseph was mature enough to interpret the dreams of both these offenders and he rightly said that all the dreams are interpretations of God. He was also mature in interpreting the dreams by saying that the three baskets are 3 days and he also reassured the sad prisoners that they will be restored to their past illuminating status in 3 days. He also showed his maturity by requesting them to get him out of the prison when they will be released.

The 3 different trials he has gone through are 1. His plea for freedom was forgotten by the one he helped 2. He was propositioned to compromise his morals. 3. He was unjustly accused and punished.

God was always with Joseph. God wanted everybody to tragedies, trials and unpleasant things which are part of our lives. God wanted Joseph to understand that trials are varied in nature which could be health related, family oriented and occupational trials. God wanted Joseph to remind mankind that we all can triumph over every trial in our lives.
