Their mission is to be the community's first choice for intigrated health care by hardwiring excellence through continuing education , effective collaboration and by providing excellent customer service. Now this proposed satellite health clinic will increase the access for the city's population to world class health care on real time basis.

Now through this new project the onus is to develop a comprehensive global healthcare delivery System based on information technology . It has medical consultation system where a virtual consultant can give medical cosultation to the patients and Doctors at the digital medical center after reviewing the patient’s EMR file consisting of patients history, investigations in the voice, images and data format.

The system has the surgical operation system too, where a remote robotic consultant can conduct surgery at the robotic surgical center.

The instant speech and text translation is incorporated in the software where the patient’s speech and text (language) can be translated into the consultant’s language & vice a versa.

A consultant of any specialty (surgeon or Physician) based in any country can provide instant health care consultation, to any patient in any country without loss of time.

Robotic surgeons based in any country in a tertiary care hospital can perform remote robotic surgery, through patient friendly telemedicine & telesurgical centers.

·         The entire system uses paperless, filmless techniques. Thus eliminates the use of all consumables and thereby reduces substantial cost incurred by   consumables.

The other weakness which is there is that in some of the 3rd world and developing countries internet access is not stable and reliable so to and from communication may be a hassle . RECOMENDATIONS To make this project feasable the most important aspect is the availability of healthcare professionals who are trained in telemedicine and telehealthcare . In the initial phase what can be done is that selected healthcare professionals currently working with Pocahontas Memorial Hospital (PMH) can be sent to Norway to the Norwegian Center for integrated care and Telemedicine on a training programme . The Norwegian Center for Integrated Care and Telemedicine (NST) is the world’s largest center for research and development in telemedicine and eHealth. This will be a strategic initiative and will be the first short term plan . After this is implemented based upon the assessment of healthcare professionals trained in telehealthcare further long term plans can be implemented . As with this bunch of healthcare professionals the hospital can come up with their first satellite clinic and if this initiative is successful the hospital can have many more such satellite clinics and in the long run can have their own telemedicine center where they can train the telemedine experts for their own needs, CONCLUSION As I am running out of time I am submitting the report now.
