3a) Human Capital :-
The term 'human capital' was first introduced in 1960 by Theodore Schultz. Human capital is the workers' skill, knowledge etc viewed as economic value by some country or organization to develop goals.
Chracteristics of individual human capital :-
As every employee has different skills so they also value differently to the organization.
1. Experience of the person effect much to the organization as a person's skill set also grows with the experience level.
2. One of the other important characteristics of human capital is education level of a person. An educated person always have a great knowledge about the subject.
3. Employees having training and skills can be very valuable for the organization.
4. Health is also an important characteristics for a country and organization. Health of an employee is of great value for an organization.
5. Language is also a factor for an organization. As employees knowing different languages can be a great asset for a country or an organization.
3b) General ethical principles :-
Ethical principles analyses the ethical dilemmas and helps in solving it. There are seven basic ethical principles. Which are -
1. Respecting autonomy -
Every human being has the right to decide the best for themselves. Human being must get the authority to decide about their own lives.
2. Nonmleificence -
One of the important ethical principles is doing no harm to other beings. Human being must no harm mentally or physically to others as it is unethical.
3. Beneficence -
Human being must promote the action of human welfare. Helping others is very ethical.
4. Justice -
Justice for others can be very critical. People must not put themselves in ethical dilemmas and decide to do the right thing.
5. Fidelity -
Being faithful to others is a necessary for every human being.
6. Proportionality -
In this principle human being must decide the ethical blance between one person's freedom and other social responsibility.
7. Efficiency -
Human being must have moral principles towards others.
3 c) Organization's ethical climate :-
Organization having basic moral principles in their workplace is said to be having ethical climate. There are various ways to develop ethical climate in the organization. Some are -
1. By establishing the code of ethics employees can know the proper guidelines and policies of ethics which can lead them to develop ethical behavior.
2. Employees can also be motivated in ethical behavior if managers shows example of great leaders. This is a very easy way to establish ethical climate.
3. By establishing strict unethical laws in the organization, employees may avoid doing such things.
4. One of the obvious way to motivate employees is to provide rewards for those employees whose performance in ethical behavior may be on top.
5. Managers must take necessary action for unethical behavior in the workplace so employees may restrict themselves from doing it.
