Question
I need ASAP within 30-40 minutes if possible
(15 points) Your friend Flea works for Spotify, the music streaming service. He has approached you to discuss a project hes currently working on. He needs to classify a song as being party music (P) or easy listening (E) based on the number of beats per minute (bpm) of the song. Spotify will be able to extract the number of beats per minute in the song using state-of-the-art signal processing techniques and will use the classifier designed by Flea to decide how the song classifies. Flea's boss has given him the following data and told him to train his classifier based on the data. Flea does not know what exactly to do with it Song Numberm minute (bpm)Song type Beats pe 102 120 98 104 80 95 95 100Explanation / Answer
c) The classification rule used by Flea is that songs with bpm >95 are party songs and the rest are easy listening songs. Flea witnessed that there was an error in the bpm measurement of Song 1, which has 103 bpm instead of 102 bpm. This change, however will not change the classification rule as still Song 1 remains in the part song (P) category.
d) Song 7 has 100 bpm and is actually classified as E while Song 4 has 104 bpm and is classified as P. This means the basis of classification has been shifted and now songs, which have bpm till 100, are classified as E i.e. easy listening songs while the rest will be categorized as P i.e. party songs. Initially the basis of categorization was at 95 bpm but in the new classification rule, this basis has shifted to 100 bpm.
