Tim Griffiths is Innovation’s current CEO. Innovation Group is a provider of insurance services and vehicle toll management , IT solutions and software services in 13 countries. The group's headquarters is located in Whiteley near Fareham in southern England.
Innovation has well over 1300 clients. 15 out 1300 clients are the top insurance companies in the world. Since Innovation has services in many different areas, my area expertise is the insurance element. On the Insurance side, the services that is provided by innovation range from claims management to risk management to Subrogation and adverse subrogation.
What drives Innovation Group is their core values and mission. Going beyond expectations for clients and customers and aim to inspire a positive change in areas they serve, is the heart of Innovation’s values. They practice their values by being customer focused, which gives them clarity on where they want to go and why they are doing the things they do. Constantly look at things differently, which gives them the opportunity to be creative and innovative. Being collaborative is another contribution towards their values , which makes their togetherness real and credible, while being trustworthy with one another.
Since their values is what drives the company, their corporate social responsibility is what drives the employees in making Innovation Group the company that it is today. The name of their corporate social responsibility program is called Integrity. Innovation’s integrity program creates a culture that begins with integrity, encourages creativity and ingenuity, demonstrates compassion, social responsibility and fairness, focuses on their customers, and strives for excellence in everything the employees do. The core of their CSR program is building trust and credibility.
Innovation Group success depends on the earned trust and confidence from their employees, customers, and shareholders. They gain credibility by fulfilling commitments and doing business practices in an ethical fashion. They believe in achieving the impossible, which is their company goal.
Courtney Watts, a ten year veteran, has witness the companies downfalls and successes, She has seen leadership in the company change on several different occasions. Starting off as customer service representative, she strive to achieved success by doing business in an ethical manner which ultimately lead her to become an account manager. She followed the code of business, which is the core principles of Innovation’s integrity program. The main principle she followed was the business practices. Under the integrity program, business practices is defined as a commitment to only engaging in ethical business practices. Employees must accurately and honestly represent Innovation Group and may not engage in any activity or scheme intended to defraud any person or organization of money, property, or honest services. With her knowledge and personable approach, and acting on business practices principle, ultimately, Courtney Watts became the top account manager in the organization. She landed at least ten insurance companies onto the Innovation Groups’ insurance program.
I asked Courtney how did she manage to convince ten insurance companies to sublet and entrust a third party vendor , such as innovation Group to streamline their auto claim management and repair management. She stated by doing the proper research, finding where the business should be, and doing a complete and thorough background of insurance companies. Also offer insurance companies a costly services that can save money, time and increased customer satisfaction overall. By relying on her knowledge and research, she captured contracts, and trust from her clientele and expanded innovation’s business. From a customer service representative to an account manager, which expanded her horizon and skills, Courtney became the director of the auto department. In this role she displays the principle of protection of assets, which is another core principle of the business code. Protection of assets states strive to preserve and protect Innovation Group’s assets by making prudent and effective use of Innovation Group resources and by properly and accurately reporting its finances.
In her current role, which the director of auto, Courtney oversees the auto department budget and finances. She has to make sure that licensed appraiser are coming to an agree price with body shops, that is cost effective for Innovation’s clients. She oversees clients’ rental budget which is used for their claimants and insureds , and making sure that the rental budget does not penetrates Innovation auto’s budget. She also oversees vendor services and making sure those relationships are intact to provide services to the insurance companies. When asked how to maintain relationships with vendors and clients without comprising her integrity, she stated that being honest and forthcoming is the only way to maintain and establish a professional relationship.
By being honest forthcoming, knowledgeable, prepared, and following the integrity program, Courtney has truly been a huge contributor and apart of Innovation Group success in the auto insurance industry. As of today, Innovation Group is expanding their business in auto insurance by signing on more insurance companies to the program. Also Innovation Groups is seeking to expand their business in commercial and residential insurance market.
As innovation group continue to expands their avenues, it is a great opportunity for me to expand knowledge and skills with innovation. Within the past year I worked hard to become a licensed appraiser for innovation auto as well as a claims management consultant. As I continue my success in this position by following the same code of business that Courtney followed, I have taken the liberty to sign up for innovation leadership program. This will help me to achieve the goal of becoming either an account manager or business analyst at Innovation Group.
Just by following the Integrity program, doing research, being prepared, and hard work, so many doors can open. Courtney started as representative and now leading a department that is growing everyday. It gives me insight on how to get to the next level in my professional career. Just by sitting with her and learning about her background, leads me to believe that Innovation Group is the place that I want to retire from.
