1. i) Resources of a company :-
The main resources of a company includes - land, labour, capital, water, energy. Other resources are natural resources, metals, new locations etc.
ii) Effective resource management system is the effective and efficient use of resources in an organization in order to achieve some objectives. Three main resources are there in an organization which are land, labour and capital.
iii) Problems relating to human resources :-
a) Manual data entry takes a lot more time than doing in a system.
b) More demand for experienced and skilled employees.
c) Workers need to be trained for their job position which can be costly for the company.
d) Sometimes land may not be available and may be sometimes location is not suitable for the business.
e) Company may not have enough capital all the time to run the business.
iv) Relation between operation function and resource management :-
Operation functions helps the organization to utilize its available resources to meet the demand of the customers. The resource management helps the operation functions by providing the needed resources to all the respective functional departments. Without supply of resources no functional department can work.
v) There are many reasons for the need of trusted suppliers. Some are -
a) Company may sometimes need urgent supplies of resources which only suppliers can solve.
b) Suppliers know many secrets of the company which if leaked can affect the company very much. They may leak those information to the competitors.
c) Trusted suppliers can provide quality of resources. This can help the companies to make quality finished product.
d) Trusted suppliers can help the organization during their bad financial conditions by offering some cheap but quality products.
