This position is often referred to as a "Continuous Improvement Manager" or a slight variation of this title. The primary responsibility of this position is to drive continuous improvement in both quality and productivity while reducing cost and eliminating inefficiencies. If you were a Continuous Improvement Manager in your organization, describe some of the methodology you would apply to identify root causes. What are the tools you would use to help you achieve your primary job responsibilities? In your role as a manager, how would you identify areas of improvement from a Christian worldview and how would these decisions affect the people around you?

In order to indentify the root cause of inefficiencies in organisation I would use the research methodology. Research helps to find out the gap between plans and the outcomes. Root causes can be identified by performance mapping also. It helps to find out any deviations in performance of any employee from the planned blueprints.

Some tools that can be used to achieve primary job responsibility can be –

As a manager I would identify the areas of improvement by Internal analysis – This is like SWOT analysis of the organisation. This helps to know the areas which are already good and is the strength of the company. This helps to find out the areas which are weak and need improvement. This analysis saves lot of time and is useful to understand each and every area of organisation.

This will only benefit the people around. As when weaknesses are removed and new opportunities are welcomed by eliminating the threats, every individual can fulfil their goals along with organisational goal. Every employee will work efficiently and effectively.
