Policy Analysis is an essential technique and analysis which helps for enabling examination and evaluation of available option for implementation of goals of laws and for the elected officials. It is useful for administration in large organization which also have complex policies. It includes identifying problems and assessment of consequences of all the options and ranking for probability. The rational model of policy analysis takes into account several steps and rational actions. Taylor (1988) pointed them out in important five steps. The policy analysis for rational model includes definition of the goals or problems, identifying the alternative policies, evaluating the alternative plans, impending the policies, monitoring the effects of the plan or policies. The model is useful for taking logically sound decisions. It is a multi step method and the decisions plan on following the process from identifying the problem during political analysis to solution.
