All you need is a common audience base. Let's work through an example. Let's say you have a media plan that delivers 2,400 Women 25-54 TRPs with national network television over one year and uses a magazine schedule to deliver a total audience of 246,000,000 Women 25-54. We need to determine the total TRPs delivered by the magazine part of the schedule so we can know how many total TRPs are delivered by the media plan. To do this we convert the magazine audience figure into TRPs with simple division. Ratings - (Delivered Audience divided by Audience Population) times 100 Magazine ratings 246,000,000 divided by 61,500,000 4.00 times 100 400 So, the total delivered TRPs for our plan are 2,400 plus 400 equals 2,800 Now you try it. Answer 1: Magazine TRPs= (Total Delivered Audience /Audience Population ) X 100

Magazine TRPs=(44,000,000/32,000,000) X 100 = 1.375 X 100 = 1375

Magazine TRPs delivered = 1375

Answer 2 .Internet TRPs =(Total Delivered Audience /Audience Population ) X 100

Internet TRPs =(26,000,000/32,000,000) X 100 = 0.8125 X 100 =81.25

Internet TRPs delivered = 81.25 or 81 (rounding off)

Answer 3 : Total TRPs delivered = Television TRPs + Network Radio TRPs + Magazine TRPs + Internet TRPs

Total TRPs delivered = 1500 + 250 + 1375 +81.25 =3206.25 = 3206 (rounding off)
