I need a business essay answers to these questions. A society and drug addiction business proposal or your essay are you focusing primarily on the prescription drug problem or all drug abuse? If it is the former, in regards to prevention, would you suggest that alternatives are used and prescription opiates are outlawed on an outpatient basis? If so what would be the alternative(s)? If not, what can you suggest to help in the arena of prevention? How would the evaluation of the outpatient and extended care work? Would it be too invasive or cost the patients more money? If so you can see the potential for issues there.

Explanation / Answer

Drug In medicine refers to any substance with the potential to prevent and cure diseases or enhance physical or mental well being. In pharmacology , drug refer to any agent that alters the biochemical or physiological process of tissues or organism. But once it comes to drug addition for non-medical reasons it can lead to mental and physical damage. Dependence or addiction of alcohol, heroin, cocaine etc are very dangerous.

Nowadays drugs have progressed from spreading of joy and enhancing religion, to causing addiction, violence and death. Society over the past few decades has changed the way it's members use drugs and how they respond to their use. There has been a rise in addiction, people using and abusing drugs and deaths related to or caused by use of drugs. Those closest to a drug-addicted individual are hardest hit. Common patterns emerge within families where at least one individual is addicted to drugs. These patterns include high levels of criticism or negativism within households, parental inconsistency, or in the case of parents coping with a drug-addicted child, denial. Misdirected anger between drug addicted and non-addicted family members is common as is self-medication as a strategy in coping with family dysfunction.

Co-dependent relationships often form between partners, where at least one partner is addicted to drugs and the majority of domestic disputes involve the use of alcohol or drugs. Children with one or more parents abusing drugs are more likely to take on the responsibility of the parental role, often functioning in denial of their parents’ addiction or behaviours relating to the addiction. These children commonly lack basic necessities, including shelter, and have little to no health care. Similarly, families with at least one drug-addicted parent are more likely to end up homeless or in poverty, and are less likely to have adequate health care, representing a common barrier in obtaining treatment for the addiction.

Research into addiction has played a key role in society's view on drugs. The majority of parents have concern over their children using drugs. Research has proven that teenagers are more prone and susceptible to developing addiction. Many adults have changed their views on allowing their children to try certain drugs. One would hope that this research has increased awareness into addiction amongst adolescents, however the number of teenagers using and trying drugs for the first time is increasing.

Now a days , even many research has been done to cure many health issues like blood pressure, pain relief, for infections, for diabetes, for anxiety etc. Yoga and naturopathy is playing a vital role in the same. In recent study it has been found that physicians and doctors ask for more tests and screening before prescribing any drug to a patient. Though it cost heavy to a people.

One has to keep hope alive. The solution to this social evil include many of the first is prevention, family interventions, carefully examine and evaluate the individuals extended care and outpatient care.
