Question

A ) Explain what a unified paragraph is and name three crucial qualities that make a paragraph unified.

B) Is this paragraph unified or not unified? Explain.

Catharsis and revenge is something that everyone lusts for. That sweet, sweet feel of removing those negative emotions from your mind and having a sense of euphoria that something unfavorable is happening to the person that did you wrong. Each person has a right to that feeling. And each person has to pay for their crimes. Just losing your job or doing some community service is not going to be enough. If you don’t know the difference between right and wrong, it is probably too late for you. Some people may argue that it would be cruel and unusual to just eliminate criminals. But I propose that for all crimes over a certain age, the person needs to be sent to an island for the rest of their life. People who do not believe in this kind of harshness will say that this solution is over the top. Others may ask, where is the island that would hold all our criminals? But we have to get imaginative to get out of the rut of our society’s problems.
