Recently, the CEO of a Fortune 500 company decided that it was gridlocked due to the abusive use of email within all ranks of the organization. In an attempt to correct this, she had her IT department disable the email functions within the company and the only emplyees allowed to use email were those who were responsible for answering emails from customers. However, even they were blocked from emailing other departments and employees. What are five issues (from an operational management perspective) that you would have to deal with if your personal email and texts were disabled?

I believe that with email and texts getting disabled, there would be a lot of issue that we may have to experience on a daily basis while working and this may differ based on the work an individual is entitled to do. The issues are:
1. Providing any update regarding the completion if the activity, or experiencing challenges cannot be communicated to the whole team, instead it needs to be communicated in person.
2. Communication collectively becomes a concern because it is difficult to communicate personally.
3. Collecting and gathering information regarding anything related to work becomes diffcult because the two way communication is disrupted.
4. Keeping track k and records of communication becomes more a difficult task as it is now communication flows informally.
