1. Boundary Spanning is the concept where managers exchange information between defined boundaries within or outside the organization to achieve organization objective.

There are typically three means to do this

Department Boundary Spanning:

Here the information exchange happens within a certain department but with different levels of authority. Here a medium or lower level employee can discuss the issues with senior level staffs.

Within a business:

In this spanning the information, exchange happens between the departments of an organization such as marketing, finance, R&D etc.

With other entities

In this method, the managers extend their boundary to other nearby business units which are having similar operation or service to gain knowledge. Solutions can be driven from the knowledge sharing between different entities.

2) Managers influence an organization's external environment through the larger way.

They can discuss certain issues publicly and can create a good or bad image of the organizations. The whole organization's reputation is in manager's hand.

They can use the media channels to influence public and get support for the organization.

They can discuss with nearby industries to get the solutions to the problems faced in the organization and increase the marketing potential too.

They are having a good relationship with suppliers and vendors which can help the business unit to get the supply in time.

3) An organization should care about its stakeholder's prosperity in order to get a better stakeholder management. It should engage the stakeholders in decisionmaking activities for new and existing projects which build the confidence among them. Engaging the contractors and suppliers in a project helps reduce the timeline of a project.

The continual growth of suppliers and stakeholders help in achieving the business goals easily so, every company should take care of their stakeholders. The organizations should follow the rules and regulations for timely release of payment and other ethical conducts should be followed in order to achieve a great relation.

4) Planning and organizing are two important parts of a business. Planning can be done beautifully but without an effective organizing strategy, it fails. From daily activity to yearly activity every term in the organization is planned before and to implement the plan we need to take some detailed organizing strategy to achieve the success. Organizing divides the plan into smaller components and tries to achieve the small parts in a lesser time which help in achieving a larger goal. Without proper implementation, it is difficult to channelize the plan for any organization
