In this case, the symptoms of bipolar disorders in Larry includes his changing mood like his behavior when he drinks, his temper,, abusing his wife & children, taking his loaded shot gun at times etc. so here Larry doesn’t seem to have a constant mood in his behavior.

Environmental issues pertain to the current situation that the person is living. This again can result in bipolar disorder on the person. This can include the recent life situations, supportive & non supportive interactions. This can result in the onset of bipolar disorders. In this case, his current situation can include being in jail etc.
