The plaintiff alleges that on his return to the store around April 25, 1993, he was told that he would not be hired for the position. According to the plaintiff, in the interim four other individuals were hired at the Westgate Parkway store. According to Clarkfinn, plaintiff was told that the application had been misfiled and that the Westgate Parkway store did not have any openings. Bahadirli contends that on learning he would not be hired, he went directly him and asked his wife to call the shop and inquire about employment. Plaintiff alleges his wife was offered a position over the phone. Clarkfinn is the corporate entity that owns the Domino's Pizza franchise at issue here. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 forbids discrimination when it comes to the pay, firing, hiring, promotions, job assignments, training, layoffs, fringe benefits, and, other terms of employment. They can also not be treated unfairly owing to their association or marriage to a person of a certain origin.
Mehmet Bahadirli went to the store on April 12, 1993, and, April 25, 1993; he was told he was well qualified but was later not offered a job. He was told that there were no openings at the store while he believes four individuals were hired in the interim.
He asked his wife to inquire about employment at the store; she was told she can be hired by the store.
Conclusion
