Factors that contributed to her success were:

Adaptiveness: When Dorthy was transferred to the new land by the tornado, she struggled in the initial stage as she was not ready for it, but later on she learned about the alien territory and became adaptive to its nature.

Planning: After the tornado, Dorthy was confused but observant of the surrounding. She noticed that people have some similar to Kansas and soon she came up with the plan to tackle the situation.

Team Work: Without the help from companions Dorthy would not have been able to survive the alien land. Teamwork played a prominent role in finding out the solution and fighting back the difficulties.

Task Oriented: After getting the task from the Wizard Dorthy did not lose the hope and followed the planned path to complete.
