Alan Mulally was an effective and ethical leader because of the following reasons:
The most appropriate lesson, which can be learnt from this case is the importance of good leadership for the performance of any business. It was just the grit and determination of Alan Mulally and his visionary approach towards innovation that Ford has been able to maintain its market hold as well as competitive advantage.
A leader must have clarity of thoughts and a clear vision to make the business grow. I will try and inculcate this practice in my leadership style so that I will also be able to be a bane for my company.
