Explanation / Answer
Ans:
The suspect interview gave me a since of family issues where is mom always tried to keep him on the good path by staying on top of him with harassing him to do better and to stay in school he was a hot head trouble person looking to get into trouble trying to fit in because of others at school played around and got into trouble he figured to stay Kool he had to make the gang aware of his actions. However the victim also admitted that she would smoke here and there sometimes and I think that he was going to take advantage of her due to his situation of needing to get money. The victim knew what she was getting into when he offered her to smoke with him putting herself in danger with a stranger.
She is the typical victim in this case one does not have to be a victim of a violent crime to be fearful of a violent crime she was not in any state of mind thinking about her safety females are more fearful than males are being under the influence with drugs hindered her from taking control of her actions she said in her statement that she does drugs every now and then. When the harm was done the victim was emotional state which is not enough to say she was in danger due to she agreed to tag alone with the suspect to smoke drugs with him. Physically striking here was justification as an act that does physical harm to a person.
Similarities are they are men, coming from broken households without fathers being in there life’s. Low income family, with no high school education, the suspect’s mood is one of anxiety with having the lack of knowledge and understanding from a role model. The suspects came from family’s that were well grounded just faced similar issues/problems because the parents were not in their lives to guide them to a better path both suspects felt there was no reason to get an education due to low self-esteem of being harassed while in school trying to prove they fit in to gain attention.
