MNCs offer bribes to the host country governments for providing lincence to do business in the nation. there are many live examples for this, and many reasons for this. in some of the nations offering and accepting bribe may be legal, in some nations like India, it is completely crime. both the parties should be punish if it proves that they involve in any transaction.
particularly the case has been drastically in late 2006, after 2006 there are many incidents happens and the rate of bribes increased drastically. officials who are in power, they are looking for self benefits, they are not restricting themself to the laws, from the firm side; it has to enter into the foriegn nation at any cos, they are ready to do any kind of legal or illegal activity either directly or indirectly.
