The seven categories of Criteria for Performance Excellence in the Baldrige Award and the key issues addressed in them are mentioned below:
1) Leadership: This category examines how the leadership team guides, governs and sustains the organization. It also looks at the fulfillment of ethical, legal, societal, and community responsibilities of the organization.
