According to me the factors that have led to this change has been quite evident. Most of these ousters/appointments came at a time when the sales are too lousy and there are new and fierce competition in the line from fast chains like chipotle and better burger brands that slao includes shake shack.

The organisation is under the belief that these CEO's have been incremental in recurring losses due to their poor mistakes and implementation of strategies that are bound to fail. However its not what it looks like. Taking a closer look on the individual cases we can figure out the real culprit. Lets for instance take the ouster of Don Thompson , CEO of mc donanld’s. Thompson solely was not responsible for this – infact the entire team has to take the blame. Decline in the share od Mcdonald’s dates back to the 2010, its even when Thompson was not hired.

Obviously the best part is to get rid of the leader when there are unrest in the stockholder, franchisees and other stakeholders. Most of the companies listed in the above article have been too huge and have their presence across the globe. As a consequence if there is a situation of unrest everything has to be taken into account.
