Your contact in the police department has let you know that late last night, the owner of your team, Arthur Johnson, was arrested for driving under the influence and child endangerment after he was pulled over for speeding. According to the arresting officer’s report, Johnson was clocked going 95 MPH in a 50 MPH zone. After pulling Johnson over, the officer approached the vehicle. As he was doing so, the officer observed a large pile of white powder on the dashboard of the car. The officer also saw a small child in a car seat in the back seat of the vehicle. According to the police officer, when Johnson was asked to exit the car, the officer noticed that Johnson was wearing nothing but a pair of swim trunks, snow boots, and a trench coat, and immediately attempted to flee the scene. Johnson was easily apprehended, however, and immediately taken into custody. Child services was called to deal with the boy, who turned out to be Johnson’s 2-year-old grandson.

Your assignment is to draft a press release which will serve as the team’s first response to this news. Consider what your statement should include that will decrease the negative publicity the team as a whole will receive. What can you say that will mitigate the embarrassment Johnson has already caused the organization? The story of the arrest is due to make the rounds on social media and other news outlets, so your response is extremely important. As you formulate the organization’s response, the team president has asked that you 1) not mention any of the embarrassing details contained in the police report, and 2) keep it to one page.

Explanation / Answer

Organization is responsible to answer only matter or issue realted with organization matter. Mr Johnson drive car at overspeed with un cultured dress or something that is really bad from society point of view. And as organization we also dont support for such activities. Everyone should follow Law & Order as good citizen. But as the act done by Mr Johnson is purely his personal act , it is not related with organization.
