The topic I chose for our final report is regarding confidence in relation to work performance and customer satisfaction. I chose this topic because it is something I have to teach every day when I am at work. I work for a finance company and train employees to be confident with the information they provide so customers feel confident in the information they received. Additionally, while doing research, I found that employees that are confident tend to be better investments for companies. The reason my topic matters is twofold; first, it matters because it increases customer satisfaction and it gives customers a sense of trust and confidence in a company. Second, it matters because companies can figure out whom to hire to help grow their company. I will likely start by googling confidence within the workplace or confidences impact on performance and see what that gets me. From there, I may take some topics to the UIU library to find peer-reviewed sources and journal articles. Additionally, I may see what I can find in the material we have at work. n/b: have your say (Elaborate)

Impact of confidence on work performance: Performance on work is directly related to confidence and in turn, confidence derived its component from various employee and employer aspects like
When an employee is groomed in an very conducing and growth oriented environment, he/she is very content and happy. A happy employee alway represent best foot forward for the benefot of organization. When he talks, interacts and deal with customers, he always oozes confidence based on knowledge acquired and also owing to having faith in organizations, he translates the same positive energy to his/her customer. The customer can sense this positive vibes and also very happy to deal with a happy employee and together they form a group which work on win-win proposition for both groups. The customer satisfaction can be derived from this long lasting relation which is built on trust, past performances and faith of doing things better.
I fully agree that a happy and confident employee alwaus gaurantee a happy and long lasting customer bringing double happiness to employer i.e. getting a better employee and possessing a sustainable business interest.
