The disadvantage of western privacy laws like the right to freedom of speech is that it also widens opportunities for irresponsible activity such as the work of pirates.

Copyright laws are not useful in this situation because the Chinese government does not enforce western copyright laws.

Disney is not fighting with 56.com because they are not too concerned with 56.com offering their movies for free because it gives them a strategic advantage.
