LSI's mission is to provide superior training and technical support services to the U.S. Government, Foreign Militaries, and the Aerospace Industry. LSI will maintain leading edge capabilities with trained, experienced, and skilled personnel, supported by the most modern technologies and methods, and we will apply those skills in the most efficient manner possible to ensure our customer's success. LSI's Quality Policy is to provide customer satisfaction through quality service, remain competitive in our costs, and pursue continuous improvement in all of our business processes.

i) Current Mission statement seems to be effective because it is concise, outcome oriented and inclusive. It explains the fundamental outcome that company wants to achieve and also explains about group’s key goals. It defines the company’s business, its objective and its approach to reach its goals. In this case, Vision statement also seems to be elaborative and effective where it describes about the desired future position of the company. It is also broad enough to include a diverse variety of local perspective, inspiring and uplifting to everyone and easy to communicate.

iii) New vision statement can be :

Be the world’s premier training and technical support services to the U.S. Government, Foreign Militaries, and the Aerospace Industry by achieving extraordinary results for our customers, building satisfying careers for our people, and earning a fair return on the value we deliver.

In this vision statement, we have targeted company’s effort to most favored partner to US government especially in Aerospace industry by offering best solution to its customers. The company have its focus on Quality deliverable, maintain low cost and pursue continuous improvement process but these are the mean to achieve the future position thus no need to mention it in vision statement rather focus on value that company can deliver to its customers.
