is an important part of group interaction. However, the mode of communication may influence your approach to address these kinds of situations. For example, communicating with someone via e-mail versus face-to-face requires a unique approach that acknowledges the absence of nonverbal cues.
For this Discussion, you take on a key role in one scenario to solve a small group interaction problem.
Imagine you are involved in one of the following two scenarios and consider how you would approach the situation.
Scenario 1
You are part of a volunteer community group that is working together in your community on a fundraiser. Each group member has duties to fulfill that were agreed upon at the start of the project. Unfortunately, one of the group members, your neighbor and friend, consistently fails to complete the duties he/she accepted. This is hindering the group progress. As group leader, you need to address this issue.
Scenario 2
Your office work team is comprised of participants who work from dispersed geographic locations. They use communications technologies to work as a virtual team and have an important project that absolutely has to be delivered by the deadline. Unfortunately, the team leader does not seem to have the skill to encourage the team and hold them accountable. You can see that two of the members, Joe and Sue, are not on track to complete their work in time for the team to deliver the results with which they have been commissioned. As a team member, what can you do?

Decide how you will approach the problem in either scenario. Will you approach the team leader? The individuals who are falling behind? Or other team members? What verbal and nonverbal cues will you use in your communication?
Review Chapters 6 and 15 from this week’s Learning Resources. How does nonverbal communication have an influence in your scenario? How does the problem-solving approach change if the scenario occurs in a computer-mediated environment?

In my point of view ,If iam a group member t i would like to face the challenging situations.From the point of view communication is very important in any company or organization whatever may be.There are a lot of situations how to face them and solve them in a easy mode.In a team based works compulsory coordination & responsibility and responding to complete the work in a proper way.lack of coordination is the main drawback to reach the final destination or to complete the work in a systematic way.If there is a team work in working places automatically cooperation and coordination improves the working process in a simple way.
In some cases we are unable to face the conditions.face to face communication responds and easily to understand that in what way we are ready to go.and how to handle the situation through their conversation.Through Emails or Phones we cannot afford the things do properly.iconic contact shows the expression and views of a particular situation to take right decision for right things.
personal perspective is the what way we are receiving the message based on taking proper decision.Different persons are having different ideas to take the decisions in their own thinking way.we are doing the things in our own manner.In the childhood onwards what we are learning and receiving what is good and what is bad is one of the best example for perception.
Team work is the supportive way to complete the work in a proper manner. A small issues arise in that members it may occurs to destroy the working conditions.If any issues arise it will complicated to destroy the work in working place.A lot of coordination plays a vital role to reach the success in an organization.The main target to reach the goal for earning profit in a company.The primary motive of the company to fully & partially complete to achieve the task.
Communication is very important in the current trend.In software sector it is the main source and it is an advantage to improve their skills .Verbal and non verbal communication are the major sorces in communication.To express & share our views in a communicative mode.The changes and modifications are sophisticated in their views.The conversation is in the form of face to face shows the expressive views in a partcular manner.
In overview point of manner totally discussed about team leader,due to lack of communication how to mould the situations,the members wont complete the work take a serious action on those persons and suspend few days from their work in few days.After that take a strong action to quit out from their jobs.If we didnt take it as serious action it will affect on working environment and to exploit the work of other members.
