As we look at some of the great modern business leaders, much of what contributes to their success has been identified in the 50 leadership qualities article by Tom Peters. Some of these qualities will resonate more with you than others. The goal of this week's class is to become familiar with this list and then look for evidence of the existence of these qualities in successful leaders today, drawing your own conclusions about what is important. Our goal by the end of the week is to answer the following question- with the flattening of the world and integration of businesses across the globe, coupled with the advances of technology, have the skills and attributes required of leadership changed.

Adam Bryant empahsise about new leadership styles and qualities in the video.Apart from traditional point of view, it is always advisable to check into the practical reality and work accordingly. Take away from the message is all about quality of leadership is a long term practise and it can be achieved only through efforts and colloboration.
Thus the cumulative efforts and refined practices makes the leadership more valuable and more beneficial to the whole people. Leadership is confusing a s hell, its because guidance and managing the things and doing right things at right time is always a fuzz and sometimes it is relative. People management is not an easy task to do with and it needed pure experience and ability to handle pressure. Confusion is the result of lack of idea and gap between the requirements.
The reason for the confusion can be of communication mismatch, lack of objectives and goals., changins objectives on interim basis, people wfrom diversified areas in single team etc. Leadership is all about driving the whole team in such a way that to meet the objectives on the right time. There might be thousands of hurdles for that in between, its all about dealing those hurdles and soften it. Those who could able to convert the hurdles in to positive is the real gem of a leader.
