As the D/CEO and PM, you understand how organizational change plays a significance role in achieving a competitive edge and also that organizational change can be rather difficult to handle because of uncertain environment fluctuations and the outcomes associated with it.

Three characteristics that D/CEO must posses

Credibility: The Deputy CEO should have good credibility and trust among peoples. Its very difficult to gain a good credibility. The good credibility comes with good trust and honesty. To maintain a good credibility the CEQ is required to speak 100% truth.

Competence: To be competent is to take good and successful decision. A credible CEO incompetence will not succeed as people will not believe on the judgement. To be competent the CEO needs to understand the organisational culture and the organisation business structure.

Caring: Its easier for a caring CEO to achieve its goal. A CEO with competence but without caring often fails to achieve organisation goal. CEO should place organisation interest above his interest. CEO should follow the same standards as set for other employees

Three characteristics that Project Manager must posses.

Good understanding of Business strategy: Project manager have very good understanding of business strategy so that he can fit the project goal to the organisation strategy. He should have skills beyond the project management

Overcoming hurdles: Project manager can meet the deadline of the project completion and be able to achieve the project goal within the project budget. He should be flexible and should have soft skills and can handle the hurdles with his experience. He should outperform the expectation

Good team work: Project manager should improve team performance and optimize the team output. He should focus on the team performance to achieve the project goal by motivating the team members. HE should keep open line communication and hold the member of the tem be accountable for their work.
